Monday made 26 weeks on this interesting journey..1lb down in the past week..57lbs down in 6 months, since 1/6/2020..started @ 174lbs..now 117lbs..I don’t have an exercise routine yet, this weight has dropped specifically from eating SOFAS Free (Salt Oil Flour Alcohol Sugar Free) Whole Food Plant Exclusive, Low Calorie Density Specific..feeling grateful for a stark reminder earlier this week..had an emotional day and I found myself in the kitchen..it wasn’t until I was in there that I realized my addict brain had jumped right in w/ old conditioning, directing me to go find “comfort” food to cope..I looked around and realized I was proud to discover I didn’t even have a true desire for “comfort” that way..and it helped that anything that was in there of a “comfort” nature, was not in my sight line, thanks to my supportive 17yr old daughter..I grabbed a banana to satisfy an actual hunger, put a sweet potato in the oven to bake..and wound up falling asleep before the potato was done(my 17yr old took care of it)..this reminded me I am indeed a Refined Food Addict and Overeater in Recovery and must stay vigilant as the addict brain really stays looking for an excuse to get put back in the game.
