An SOSF Free (Salt Oil Sugar Flour Free) dessert I put together for my 44th Bornday back in May..looking at these pics had me reflecting on the most recent holiday that was centered around “sweet”, Halloween..gratefully I’ve been eating this way long enough (10 months), that cravings for Refined substances are next to none these days, and the worst of the withdrawal symptoms are behind me..this year, when I saw those all-too-familiar orange plastic buckets and bowls out at the businesses I patronized, I took a moment to observe what came up..and thought it was interesting to see my brain was responding from a space of…conditioning..all these years I’ve associated seeing those bowls/buckets and it’s contents, w/ an immediate reaction of picking up the contents and eating them..as a Refined Food Addict and Overeater in Recovery, I honored that I will need to continue to work on deprogramming these different kinds of conditioning and be vigilant in my observations..I also gave myself permission to acknowledge, that though I have plenty of great memories associated w/ this time of year, I get to make new memories…Here’s to our health💕#eatingformyl1fe #refinedfoodaddictinrecovery #sofasfreeliving #wegotthis #journeyofhealth #leafygreensforfirstmeal #veggiesforfirstmeal #hydrate
