To all those new here, Welcome…to all those who continue to join me on this journey, Thank you As we approach the upcoming 63 day Holiday season (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year’s eve, New Year’s day, etc.) I’m feeling especially grateful to No longer feel anxiety around the holidays and the push for Refined Food Consumption, and overeating in general that normally comes w/ them. As a Refined Food Addict and Overeater in Recovery, this is the time of year, more than any other, it’s easier for me to recognize the true impact abstaining from SOFAS (Salt Oil Flour Alcohol Sugar) is really having on my self…to keep pushing. I’ve also been finding so much Joy in creating New Seasonal Experience-centered traditions around this time of year and making Seasonal food and drink-centered traditions a thing of the past. In the After pic I’m pictured at a Fall Festival and there I had a wonderful time browsing Fall wares and listening to live music. I ate before I arrived and reminded myself how easy it would be to grab more of my food for fuel if I became hungry while there. Gratefully, w/ cravings largely gone, hunger is not an emergency for me anymore.
