14 weeks in on this journey of health..down another pound since last week so I’m officially in the 130’s now..started on 1/6/2020 @ 174lbs to 139 today..35lbs gone..though I’ve successfully dropped this much weight before, back in 2017, eating in the same manner (SaltOilFlourAlcoholSugar Free Whole Food Plant Exclusive, Low Caloric Density specific), I didn’t keep it off and gained it all back..and some more..this time around I’ve been super intentional about consciously looking for ways to make this WOE sustainable permanently..from what I remember from last time, my body is starting to get close to the weight it naturally wants to be w/ this WOE..so I’m recognizing how important it is not to start looking for excuses to eat in ways I haven’t been, i.e., keep this ego in check, stay humble and remember, the addict brain Never sleeps, it’s always looking to be put back in the game..Here’s to our health💕#EatingForMyL1fe #RefinedFoodAddictInRecovery #SOFASFREELiving #LeafyGreensForBreakfast #VeggiesForBreakfast #WeGotThis #JourneyOfHealth

As I continue on this journey, I’ve been learning as excited as I can be about finding and trying new recipes, I have to have standbys that require no thought, particularly when I’m feeling overwhelmed, which was the case yesterday.. So a simple spinach fruit salad(strawberries and mandarins) as first meal, followed by some oven baked sweet potato fries w/ pumpkin pie spice and a strawberry sorbet(just a handful of frozen strawberries blended until sorbet consistency) and 6-7 20oz bottles of water, did the trick..Here’s to our health💕#EatingForMyL1fe #SelfCare

Today makes 13 weeks in on this insightful journey..1lb down in the past week, 34lbs down total in 13 weeks..for me, at this time, it’s important to mention I’ve been diagnosed w/ mental illnesses: depression, anxiety, ptsd and bi-polar..so I’ve been finding eating in the simple manner I do is one less thing I have to be concerned about in this daily battle my brain wages on me..feeling super refreshed after another 48hrs “off line”..gave myself permission, again, to keep my phone Off outside of taking pics and looking up recipes, to not answer phone calls or texts until today, to stay off my laptop and social media until today, to see what eating “whatever” I wanted truly looked like(was pleased my only deviation from my new “norm” was sweet peas as my first meal on Saturday vs leafy greens), to luxuriate in Only doing what I absolutely wanted to, have a spa day, watch “light-hearted” movies and shows, throw myself another fashion show, meditate, read and play card games w/ my 17yr old..Here’s to our health💕#EatingForMyL1fe
